As usual we've been burning up the tread, completing jobs in Denver, Aurora, Castle Rock, Monument, and Colorado Springs.
Ongoing projects in Castle Pines include homes on Morningstar Way. and an earlier home on Equinox Drive. We really feel at home these days in Castle Pines. These photos (right) show over 1000 ft. of luxurious Venetian Plaster applied to a bath and spa area. The adjoining exercise room and offices carry the same color for a very unified effect. (right)
A quartz based primer is trowelled on the walls. Four coats of marble based lime plaster are applied, then lightly sanded. The
surface is burnished with special steel blades which results in a uniquely shiny surface reminiscent of marble.
This bar area (below) in a Colorado Springs home is given an Old World effect with an earth based clay product that has to be felt to be believed. It's at once distressed and earthy but retains a touchability and softness that is inviting and pleasant. We also introduced some stone breakouts that give the illusion that old plaster is falling off the walls for that rustic European feel.
Below are a couple of recent projects we had fun with as well. Want a small garden in your basement window well? All you need is a little paint and you'll never have to water.
